location was good, two tube stns close, very polite staff, breakfast excellent

room too small,,like a cupboard,,bed too small one side up against the wall and a small double, sealed windows so no fresh air

Went to Science museum with my son

    value for money

  • Couple
    3.2

very very small rooms, poor services as compared with 4 star hotel, not even one of the staff offered my assistance to take my 5 luggages to the room! no fridge in the room and the hotel does not even offer the bottles of water within the rooms! it can't be compared with any 4 star hotel. the breakfast menu is almost empty! Only few cereals, eggs and not even fresh juice.

  • Family with children

It was just great to have 2 connecting rooms since we were with our children. Breakfast was also excellent and staff friendly.

  • Family with children

Proximity to underground and fairly good area

the rooms were so tiny my son had to sleep on the floor, not enough room for clothes. The breakfast menu is just the same everyday

    Location of hotel and breakfast

Bathroom was dirty, and during our staying no one clean it. Hotel reserve money from our account before. Hotel has reserved the money in our account before the agreed time and money we have not been available in the next 10 days. Nowhere is it said on the website Booked.net that this is one of the conditions of the hotel

  • Family with children
    8.2

The hotel had a welcoming and pleasant atmosphere. The room and facilities were compact, modern and comfortable and consistent with the expectation as of a value for money city hotel.

  • Older travelers
    8.8

The hotel was in a good location, the breakfast was very good.

The bed was a little small for a double and also quite uncomfortable.

Our room 306 overlooking the corner of Cromwell Road was perfect for us 2 ladies. It was clean & quiet, had 2 twin beds, a flat screen tv, changing towels, safety deposit box, ironing board, har dryer, cookies and tea/coffee/kettle and a good continental breakfast buffet downstairs. Staff were polite and helpful. The hotel is in a safe and nice location right next to a hospital and a Sainsbury's supermarket. The hotel is between Gloucester or Earl's Court subway stations on Piccadily line; both stations are easy to access in a 10 minute walk. You can take the subway to reach either of these stops from the Heathrow Airport. It takes 40 minutes and the all day use ticket costs 8 pounds. We could walk through a nice residential area to reach Kensington Gardens & Palace, shopping area with a Whole Foods market and My Old Dutch pancake house restaurant which had a promotion on Mondays. Hyde Park, Harrod's, Natinal History and v&a museums are not far from the hotel. 2 different daily sightseeing tour busses stop accross the Gloucester Station for you to hop-on. If I can get a good room rate, I would definitely stay here again in my next trip to London.

I don't prefer a bath tub with inefficient water drain. Shower cabins are more practical and hygenic for hotels. Perhaps the hotel management may consider this in the next renovation. Also, some of the bath towels were too old; needed to be renewed. Overall everything was pretty good; thank you for the service.

We especially liked the availability of complimentary toothbrush and tooth paste packs. I more often than not forget my toothbrush so it was great that someone had thought of this. Plus I liked the friendly staff at reception.

If you like a cooked breakfast it was not the best. They used the format that Hilton hotels use. Say no more. OJ and coffee was nice though.

  • Couple

Only the breakfast and the air-con especially with this summer of this year and nothing more than this

Many things you’ll not like it about this hotel, number 1 the room size!! Which really unbelievable size, its really really very small. Old furniture, uncomfortable bed and small so much not enough for one person either. Old TV and non free channels, very expansive internet fee, during check in one Asian person who is in reception he was processing the check in and during that time he was talking which someone in phone with no any respect to the guest, and he was talking in phone in all the time even in next days. Water leak happened in my room in the air-con which makes you awake all the night. And about the location!! From all the comments I read I don’t believe that, the tube it’s not really close its 15 min walking.

  • Older travelers
    8.2

Convenient location for us. Our room was comfortable and we liked the offer of complimentary soft drinks which were replenished in the mini bar every day. All the staff we met were very pleasant and helpful.

  • Group of friends
    6.2

The location were perfect for our trip as we were attending a concert at Royal Albert Hall. We walked to Harrods and also visited Kensington Palace. The price was very reasonable

The public areas have been recently decorated and are modern and clean. The room we had was a little"worn". Although the furniture was modern suggesting recent decoration , the room looked tired. There was a large stain on the carpet outside the bathroom which didn't look as if anyone had even attempted to remove it.

  • Older travelers
    6.6

the hotel was conviniently located for central London and tourist sights

The room was too small, even though it had been advertised as a small double, and the paper thin walls meant you could hear the conversations in the ajoining rooms even at normal conversation level, had to buy ear plugs.
